Volume Licensing

You may have obtained licenses for Microsoft software through the Open, Select or Enterprise Agreement plans. Some organizations may have received licenses through all three plans during the claim period.If you are unable to locate, after a reasonable search, documents that will automatically authorize your claims, as set forth above, you may request that Microsoft search its records for your volume license purchases.

Microsoft Open

Microsoft Open License is a software volume licensing program designed for corporate, charity, and academic customers who order as few as five licenses. After the initial order, customers can benefit from volume pricing for all licenses for the remainder of the term of their Open License authorization number. To obtain volume licensing information to submit with your Claim Form, go to https://eopen.Microsoft.com and follow these steps:

1. Click on "Sign-In .net" button.
2. Enter the Email address and Password for your Microsoft (.net) Passport account and click on "Sign In." You will be taken to the Microsoft eOpen homepage.


If you do not have a Microsoft Passport account, you will need to create one before proceeding with these instructions. After you have clicked on "Sign In .net", click "Get one now" and you will be taken to the Microsoft Passport registration page. Complete the registration, and return to https://eopen.Microsoft.com to continue.
3. First Time Users: Fill out your profile, unless this is already complete



• Select the license you want to view by clicking "Add Agreement" on the left side of the page.
• Enter the Authorization Number(s) and License Number(s) provided by the reseller who originally sold the licenses (reference the documentation provided when the licenses were originally purchased if you have difficulty locating your Authorization and/or License Number(s), or contact your reseller).
• Click "Add to View".
• Repeat these steps for each additional Authorization/License Number.
4. Existing Users: Select "Agreement Summary" on the left side of the page to view your company's license purchase history.
5. On the "Agreement Summary" page, click on the "License Number" for each license with an Order Date between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 2004
6. If the "Product Description" lists Word, Excel, Office, Windows, or MS DOS, click on "Print License" to generate a printer friendly copy of your license information to submit with your Volume License Claim Form.

Microsoft Select

Microsoft Select License is a software volume licensing program designed for corporate, charity, and academic customers with 250 or more desktops and mixed product and purchasing requirements. Select License 6.0 customers receive a volume price level for each pool of products selected (applications, systems, or servers) based on a three-year software forecast. Microsoft Enterprise Agreement

Microsoft Enterprise Agreement is a software volume licensing program designed for corporate customers with 250 or more desktops. As an Enterprise Agreement customer, customers are able to license Microsoft software to standardize on their choice of the Microsoft enterprise products (Microsoft Office Professional, Microsoft Windows Professional upgrade, and Core Client Access License) at discounted prices based on a three-year agreement term. Microsoft Select and Enterprise Agreement Information

To obtain volume licensing information to submit with your Claim Form, through Select or Enterprise Agreement plans, go to https://licensing.microsoft.com. and follow these steps:

1. Click on "Sign-In .net" button.
2. Enter the Email address and Password for your Microsoft (.net) Passport account and click on "Sign In." You will be taken to the MVLS homepage.


If you do not have a Microsoft Passport account, you will need to create one before proceeding with these instructions. After you have clicked on "Sign In .net", click "Get one now" and you will be taken to the Microsoft Passport registration page. Complete the registration, and return to https://licensing.microsoft.com to continue.
3. Click on "Agreement Summary" to view your company's license purchase history.
4. Select "All" on the "Agreement Status" dropdown and click "OK".
5. On the "Agreement Summary" page, click on the "License Summary" for each Enrollment with a "Start Date" between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 2004.
6. If the "Product Description" lists Word, Excel, Office, Windows, or MS DOS, click on the product. From your Internet Browser, select "File", "Print" to print this page to submit with your Volume License Claim Form.
